Fort William, UK – The Underwater Centre in Scotland and CADC member Divers Institute of Technology (DIT) in Seattle, Washington, have allied to provide dive students from the United States and Canada an opportunity to complete saturation diver training and ROV pilot technician training.
There is no facility in the United States that has the Closed Bell training.
Based at the head of a deep seawater loch in the Scottish Highlands, the Centre offers a sheltered site with a private pier extending into the loch. The waters reach a depth of 150 m (492 ft) to abet commercial diving and ROV training. There is also a large, purpose built, onshore diver and ROV training tank complex.
