CADC Member Pro-Dive accepted as member in IMCA for Diving and ROV services.

(PRESS RELEASE – St. JOHN’s NFLD) David Squires, President and General Manager of Pro-Dive Marine Services is pleased to announce their acceptance as a member in the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) in both the Diving and ROV services categories.
Mr. Squires said the successful audit was a happy conclusion to a year long membership application process that will now see his company recognized by IMCA who represents offshore, marine and underwater engineering member companies worldwide. Mr. Squires states the IMCA membership will provide Pro-Dive national and international recognition as a highly qualified marine contractor with a robust structure in the areas of Health, Safety & Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management systems.
Mr. Squires points out that Pro-Dive is the first Canadian owned and based Diving and ROV services company to hold membership in the coveted IMCA Group in the diving and ROV services categories. This membership in IMCA came about as a result of the hard work by the very dedicated and professional management group within Pro-Dive who Mr. Squires says deserves the credit for the prestigious recognition by IMCA.
Mr. Squires goes on to say being first for recognition in the areas of HSEQ is becoming a company tradition as Pro-Dive was the first Canadian diving and ROV services company to be accredited to the ISO Standard in 1997 and the first Newfoundland diving and ROV services company to have an approved safety program registered under Newfoundland & Labrador Construction Safety Association’s Certificate of Recognition (COR) in 1999. Mr. Squires says these “firsts” in implementing recognized HSEQ systems demonstrates Pro-Dive’s commitment, leadership and drive to be the best in class in these areas.
