Due to a misunderstanding, we had not formally announced the public review of our draft new edition of CSA Z275.6 (UXO and Police Explosive Diving) back in December. We wish to ensure that it is made available to as wide an audience as possible. So it is that we are reposting it for all of our members’ to inform their constituents and affiliates. Following is an announcement that can be freely distributed to any interested parties and posted to discussion boards and web sites:

CSA Group has developed a new and expanded edition of its Z275.6 Standard on UXO Diving. This new edition has been retitled; “Unexploded explosive ordnance (UXO), munitions, and police explosive diving” – reflecting its expanded scope addressing police and public security diving on sites potentially containing explosive devices and unspent munitions. From April 14 to June 13, 2015, this draft document will be available for review and comment.
