Doug Elsey / CADC submitted a proposal for a new section in Z275.2 on potable water as it relates to diving operations and use with diving equipment. It was noted that the primary need for assurance of water quality maintenance is in diving operations inside confined spaces. Assurance of care not to contaminate potable water sources by diving operations and equipment introduced to the water. This is viewed as primarily a public health issue and liability for the diving contractor. CSA Subcommittee 275.2 (Diivng Operations) and the main technical committee agreed to pursue this as a possible addition to Z275.2.
