Diving Supervisors Course to be held in Dec / Jan.

Several Dive Supervisors courses will be held in December and Jan. The diving supervisor course will be of 36 hours duration, be taught by a diving supervisor with five years’ experience as a supervisor and three years’ experience as a teacher at an accredited diver training establishment, and will cover the following subjects:
(i) elements of supervising;
(ii) motivation and communication;
(iii) legal responsibilities under provincial/territorial and federal diving statutes and regulations;
(iv) health and safety programs;
(v) site emergencies and accident investigation; and
(vi) dive accident prevention and management planning;
