Re: Diving in Potable Water

 

All –

 

One of articles in the CADC Magazine this issue will be on diving in
municipal water supplies (from towers to in ground storage areas.)

 

Does anyone know of a list of Canadian  municipalities (water supply people)
so we can send them a FREE CADC Magazine?

 

The idea here is – for the industry’s good and safety – is to get as much
information as possible into those that hire YOUR services (our services!!)
to make it known that doing this type of diving is specialized and requires
professional service contractors. We are dealing with decontamination of the
diver / gear, etc 
 and diving in confined and enclosed spaces, safety on
hoisting equipment when on water towers, etc. This is NOT the type of diving
for a “back of the pickup” truck dive company.

 

So – can you give me some direction as to where a list of these folks are so
they can get “educated” on what safe diving is all about.
